Simulated Nitric Acid Rain Aggravated the C and P Limits of Forest Soil Microorganisms

چکیده
With the comprehensive emissions of fossil fuel combustion and transportation waste gas, concentrations nitrogen oxides (NOX) in environmental atmosphere increase significantly, leading to nitric acid rain (NAR) pollution. However, effects NAR on soil enzyme activities microbial metabolism are unclear. In this study, Quercus acutissima Carruth. forest Yangtze River Delta China was selected as experimental subject, exposed simulated spraying with pH values 2.5, 3.5, 4.5 study response NAR. The results showed that compared non-NAR treatment, β-1,4-glucosidase (BG), L-leucine aminopeptidase (LAP), β-1,4-N-acetylglucosidase (NAG) decreased by 56.48%–42.24%, 44.57%–38.20%, 56.13%–48.11% under AR2.5 AR3.5 treatments, respectively. Moreover, there no significant change Vector Length (VL) different gradients Angle (VA) increased decrease value reached maximum indicating strong type had a greater phosphorus-limiting effect microorganisms. RDA analysis dissolved organic carbon (DOC) factor affecting activity stoichiometric ratio, interpretation rates 40.2%. conclusion, we believe restoration acidified soil, attention should be paid regulation pH, reducing scour.

Aluminum complexation suppresses citrate uptake by acid forest soil microorganisms
Organo-mineral interactions have been hypothesized to play a major role in biogeochemical cycling and pedogenesis in some forest soils. These processes are likely to be controlled to some extent by their persistence in soil, however, the factors regulating their bioavailability remain poorly understood. Therefore, we investigated the microbial utilization of C-labeled citrate in glass bead fill...

Soil erosion is a global challenge, seriously threatening soil and water resources andenvironmental qualities. One of the important factors to consider in the process of runoffgeneration and soil erosion is the physical and chemical properties of soils under differentland-uses. The aim of this study is to estimate soil erosion and runoff in rangeland, rain-fedand abandoned rain-fed agriculture ...

متن کاملPhosphorus limits Eucalyptus grandis seedling growth in an unburnt rain forest soil
Although rain forest is characterized as pyrophobic, pyrophilic giant eucalypts grow as rain forest emergents in both temperate and tropical Australia. In temperate Australia, such eucalypts depend on extensive, infrequent fires to produce conditions suitable for seedling growth. Little is known, however, about constraints on seedlings of tropical giant eucalypts. We tested whether seedlings of...
متن کاملEffects of simulated acid rain on microbial characteristics in a lateritic red soil.
A laboratory experiment was performed to examine the impact of simulated acid rain (SAR) on nutrient leaching, microbial biomass, and microbial activities in a lateritic red soil in South China. The soil column leaching experiment was conducted over a 60-day period with the following six SAR pH treatments (levels): 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0 and one control treatment (pH = 7). Compared wi...
